We partnered with Sohpie and Carl on their e-commerce store Simply Cushions in late 2020. Selling a fantastic and huge variety of cushions, we were excited to see where we could take them.
After our initial conversation and advertising strategy analysis, we learnt that they had only really been focusing on SEO, Google Shopping and some basic Facebook re-targeting setup by a previous agency over 6 prior. Simply Cushions was achieving a ROAS of approx. 2x with their re-targeting campaign and maintaining small margins for a campaign that had almost been sitting dormant.
We recommended a full-scale Facebook and Instagram ec-ommerce strategy that consisted of top of funnel campaigns, middle of funnel campaigns and dynamic re-targeting. For Google, we turned off unnecessary SEO and Ad campaigns as the store was already ranking on the first page for focused keywords and phrases.
After lots of split-testing between catalogue campaigns and lifestyle campaigns, we leveraged lookalike audiences from both Google Shopping and past Purchases from the website to boost ROAS to a steady 5-8x in just 2 months. We have maintained a lot of the spend and ready to scale moving into the new year. Over the last 30 days, we spent $2,900 and converted a return of $15,765.
